Google AdWords Scam
Hello :) and welcome back to MC-PC Blog.
I have to tell you about a ugly side of Telesales / SEO.
One of my customers was called yesterday by Direct marketing (sorry I dont have the URL :( )
Anyway, they told my customer that they are part of the Google group and they will get you them to Google page 1 for 5 different keywords for 1 month all for a deposit of £100 and £20 a month. The company has then registered my customer for only 1 obscure keyword and had the cheek to call back today asking for more money? Worth a try I here you say. WRONG. After my customer had explained what happend I had the sad duty of telling them that they had been scammed. :(
Please THINK before you give money to any one promising Google Page 1 in 24 hours. Take it from me, a SEO specialist, This is a scam, they take your money then register you on Google AdWords. This is NOT the first time I have herd of this scam. And probably not the last.
Be careful and remember that there is only one true way to get to the top of Google page 1 and thats with SEO the Organic way, unless you do use AdWords. But why pay some one else to set up a AdWords account when you can easily do it yourself for the keywords YOU want.
