Yes, MC-PC are number 1 out of about 40,000 web pages once again in the Google Search Engine Results Pages for the keywords "Web Design Newcastle-Under-Lyme". This is for both Google .com and Google .co.uk. This is a GREAT RESULT for MC-PC Web Design. Well done Google for realising great web design when it crawls it. MC-PC Web Design have been number 1 in the Google Maps results for Web Design Businesses in Newcastle-Under-Lyme for quite a while now too. :)

After last weekend, this weekend was just what the doctor ordered, nice and releaxing with my daughter Jaye. We went to blackpool last weekend and yes we did go on the Pleasure Beach, the bling has to be 1 of my best rides ever, but the pepsi max is good to in its own way.

Today's chore has been to add all the contacts i have to Yahoo and Outlook. You'd have thought they may export the contact for easy addition to 3rd party apps. The contacts are to get the chance to take part in a little experiment. They have been asked to add them selves to a blog, myspace, youtube, facebook, bebo and flickr. After they have completed that mighty feat, thay have been asked to Digg and Delicious bookmark pages at there discretion for SEO purposes. Do blogs increase traffic to a site? Hope fully we are going to find out :)

My son and I today added a new ASP Cell to TouristNetUK , as this will allow for the addition of fresh text at later date for R&D search engine optimisation reasons. It is hope that the addition of fresh relevant and original text to all of the hotel pages will help every page reach its goal of number one on a Search Engine Results Page. If only life at MC-PC was that simple.

The task in hand is to provide an Iframe for the already existing pages on Tourist Net UK , this Iframe must include a Translator Link, a Blogger button and a serch box. Not only do the pages need a Iframe at the top, but also need a Iframe on the right hand side for Adverts. At the same time as i have the pages in Notepad "cus thats how i work" i must also do the following with the HTML, move the Analytics Code and replace all the "../" relitive address with http://www.touristnetuk.com/images So lets recap - 1. Iframe with - 1a. Translator code 1b. Blogger Button 1c. Google Search Box and Text "SEARCH" 1d. Iframe for Adverts on right hand side below links 2. Update HTML in page 2a. Move the Google Analytics Code from top of the page to the bottom. 2b. Replace all the "../" relitive address with http://www.touristnetuk.com/images Oh well, here we go........ :)

My son, Callum started work today as a web designer with our family company "MC-PC Web Design". he also attends collage 4 days a week for his BTEC in IT. I hope that soon he will be showing me how to best practice Web Design and Search Engine Optimisation, and to be honest I carnt wait as i could do with the rest, lol :)

To day i added a translator to both my page and that of the comanys blog that i do freelance work for. The benifits have yet to be seen as far collecting web site figures using Google Analytics and WebMaster Tools.
