Google AdWords Scam

Hello :) and welcome back to MC-PC Blog.
I have to tell you about a ugly side of Telesales / SEO.
One of my customers was called yesterday by Direct marketing (sorry I dont have the URL :( )
Anyway, they told my customer that they are part of the Google group and they will get you them to Google page 1 for 5 different keywords for 1 month all for a deposit of £100 and £20 a month. The company has then registered my customer for only 1 obscure keyword and had the cheek to call back today asking for more money? Worth a try I here you say. WRONG. After my customer had explained what happend I had the sad duty of telling them that they had been scammed. :(
Please THINK before you give money to any one promising Google Page 1 in 24 hours. Take it from me, a SEO specialist, This is a scam, they take your money then register you on Google AdWords. This is NOT the first time I have herd of this scam. And probably not the last.
Be careful and remember that there is only one true way to get to the top of Google page 1 and thats with SEO the Organic way, unless you do use AdWords. But why pay some one else to set up a AdWords account when you can easily do it yourself for the keywords YOU want.

MC-PC Search Engine Optimisation

MC-PC have just completed a new site for Inner City Homes. The new web site can be found at http://www.inner-city-homes.co.uk/. Inner City Homes are a Lettings Agents and Estate Agents in Stoke-on-Trent. Their old site at http://www.innercityhomes.net/ looked nice but was not designed and constructed with Search Engine Optimisation in mind. The pages on the old site are made up using PHP and all the pages shared the same HEAD so automatically shared the same META Title, description and Keywords. What the web designer was thinking about when he did this I don't know, nor do I wish to know. Google would of course have spammed ALL of the pages on the old site immediately, as it would have thought that tge pages were all the same.. A Validator button was on the pages but the pages did not validate? There where no Alt tags in the code, Nor Title tags. Making Google job very hard to Crawl and Index the page correctly. Over all it was easer for me to start from scratch and redesign the old site into the newer http://www.inner-city-homes.co.uk/. All the pages are Hand Coded using NotePad in XHTML Strict 1.0 and I have used CSS 2.1 to format all of the page content. The pages have been constructed using % instead of fixed dimensions so the mobile devices can also raed the pages correctly. MC-PC always use the above to construct ALL of the pages created, as I believe in if some thing works then why fix it?

MC-PC have done it AGAIN :)
Another NUMBER 1 spot for another satisfied business customer at Inner City Homes :)
I corrected the site about a week ago and now they are number 1 in the Google search engine results pages for the keywords
"Estate Agents Stoke-on-Trent" and
"Letting Agents Stoke-on-Trent" AND
"Mortgages Stoke-on-Trent".
I have have emailed Inner City Homes with the good news and I had to share it with you all :-)
Once again proving that MC-PC are the UK's BEST Search Engine Optimisation company, If not the best Search Engine Optimisation company in the world.

MC-PC and Inner City Homes Test Page

MC-PC Search Engine Optimisation has made a test page for
Inner City Homes I have taken the home page and placed it on to my server at Inner City Homes and turned it in to a test page for SEO and Google. The page has been taken from the original Inner City Homes PHP site and re-designed and re-coded into a XHTML Strict 1.0 web page Validated to the W3C web standard Strict 1.0. Once to page has proved to the owners of Inner City Homes that it does what it says on the tin then the whole site will be re-written into xHTML by MC-PC, this will take the Inner City Home web site onto Google page 1, position 1. Where it belongs. MC-PC Search Engine Optimisation - http://www.mc-pc.co.uk/ - do NOT settle for second best or second place in the Google Search Results Pages, nor do MC-PC expect their customers to accept second place. As a web page result showing on the second page of the Google Search Results Pages (SERP) is NOTHING and NOWHERE. The test page was posted yesterday and is now showing on Google for the Keywords - Estate Agents Stoke-on-Trent and Letting Agents Stoke-on-Trent

I have set up a test page for Inner City Homes. The test is to see how long it takes to get the page to Google Page 1, Position 1. I will let you know how we go on. The page has been taken from a PHP site and re-designed using xHTML Strict code using Notepad, as are all the web pages that MC-PC produce.

Hello again :-)
MC-PC have been busy Search Engine Optimising a new site for Oglee Guest House Stanhope Avenue Woodhall Spa Lincolnshire. The have 5 web pages including the Oglee Guest House Home page and a Oglee Guest House Accommodation page and a Oglee Guest House Attractions page and a Oglee Guest House location page and a Oglee Guest House Contact page. All the pages have had their Meta Titles, Descriptions and Keywords Optimised as well as Alt and Titles adding to all Images and links. the next step is to then produce a Robots text and sitemap.xml for all Search Engine Robots wanting to Crawl and Index all the pages of the site. The Google, Bing and Yahoo accounts are then added as are the page URL's submitted to Google at "http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl" and Yahoo at "https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/submit". The only steps left are to ADD the business "Orglee Guest House" to Google Maps and add a review then add so well placed links around the web for the search engines to find. :-)
